Hello! Is anyone there?

 Long time no see. Again, haha.
 I swear that it isn't laziness or something like that, but I was trying to adapt myself to the new home, the new routine, the new games myself and Fe are making now and waiting to be able to use my computer and the internet on it, since the router I used to have decided that it would be cool to not work anymore. Also, I have been working hard on college projects and some commissions and freelance :) But I hope that long hiatus won't happen anymore.

Anyway, I have some new things to show up and tell you guys!

Since I was looking foward to get a job, I made a new portfolio on http://be.net/viiolaceus - just for a while, I have plans to make my own site soon.

Harley Quinn

I had so much fun seeing her in the Batman, the animated series :) And  also had fun drawing this because it's a remake of this drawing. This was really good to draw because it's exactly what I wanted to do 10 months ago and I couldn't - and I made this almost having an art block because I thought I just stopped to get better, but no! I actually got a lot better and now I can see the evolution even in my sketchbook :)

Since sometimes I wake up a lot earlier than my boyfriend, I decided to draw something in a simple style and I ended up drawing her :D

2nd week in Cape Town

Bom, eu sei que faz um tempinho que não atualizo aqui, mas como já disse antes, é por uma boa razão:
Já fazem duas semanas que to fazendo intercâmbio na Cidade do Cabo.
Well, I know there is some time I don't update here, but as I said before, it's for a good reason:
This is my second week doing interchange in Cape Town.

No começo eu pensava em descrever tudo o que passei, mas ia ser meio chato. Então, vou resumir:
Cheguei aqui e entrei em choque pelas diferenças. Os Sul Africanos, em sua maioria, tem um sotaque que foi um tanto difícil pra mim e estar sozinha também foi difícil, mas agora estou me acostumando. A escola é ótima, a cidade é linda e as pessoas são amigáveis. (´∀`)

In the beginning I was thinking in describing everything, but I thought it can be boring. So; I'll be quick:

I came here and I clashed. I mean, everything here is different. It was difficult for me to understand the South African accent, and being alone here wasn't easy, but now I'm getting used to Cape Town. The school is great, the city is pretty and the people are friendly. (´∀`)

Vou deixar algumas fotos por aqui, mas conto melhor quando voltar pro Brasil.

To cheia de idéias pra fazer desenhos, mas infelizmente eu não me sinto confortável trabalhando num espaço tão apertado (tenho que dividir a mesa com a minha room mate) e no notebook ):

Fiz o começo de uma concept de Juliet mesmo assim, um projeto de jogo que tenho com o Fe :3 logo devo fazer mais delas antes de decidir quais vão ser definitivas e pintar e tudo mais.

I started doing a concept art of Juliet anyway, a game project I have with my boyfriend :3 Soon I'll make more of it and maybe paint it.

Traveling to Cape town in a few hours

Aqui estou eu, mais ansiosa que criança no natal. Faltam só algumas horas pra embarcar em uma viagem de algumas (muitas) horas para Cidade d Cabo, na África do Sul. Vou fazer um intercâmbio de 5 semanas e espero aproveitar ao máximo :3
Queria desenhar coisas e etc, mas essa semana só fiz uma comission de pixel art e todo o resto do tempo passei jogando pra ficar menos ansiosa.

Algo rápido que fiz entre os trabalhos :3 Tive uma vontade repentina de desenhar a Luna Lovegood, uma personagem com quem eu me identificava muito quando eu tinha meus 13 anos.

Losing 42 bookmarks

Por algum motivo desconhecido, no meio da bienal do livro que fui no ano passado ( ou retrasado? não me lembro bem) eu decidi passar por cada estande pegando marca-páginas, e o objetivo é que todos fossem diferentes - e não importava se eram religiosos, de vampiros que brilham ou de cachorros falantes, eu pegava tudo mesmo.
During the Biennal Book Fair in São Paulo, no reason, I decided to go through every stand picking up bookmarks, and every one had to be diferent from another - no matter if it was about religion, sparkling vampires or talking dogs, I picked up everything I could.


No fim do dia, eu e os meus amigos tínhamos pego 42 marca-páginas.
E eu contei tudo isso pra falar que todos eles sumiram - provavelmente em alguma arrumação do meu quarto.
In the end of the day, my friends and I had picked up 42 bookmarks
I told it just to tell you (oh) every single one had disappeared - probably during one of the cleasings in my bedroom.

Seguindo uma ideia que tive no meio da aula em que fiz um marca páginas com corretivo e um flyer que tava dentro da minha bolsa, decidi fazer marca páginas de novos :3
Following an idea I had during the class months ago - when I made a bookmark with white out and a random flyer I found in my bag, I decided to make new bookmarks myself :3

Não são super bem feitos, mas tão dando pro gasto! E confesso que gosto mais deles do que dos outros 42 que eu tinha. Quero fazer mais e de modelos/temas diferentes (´∀`) Conforme vou fazendo mais, vou postando aqui no blog.
I didn't make I great job, but it's enough to get by! I have to say that I like it more than I did the 42 bokmarks I lost. I want to make more  with different themes (´∀`) When  have more of then, I'll post over here.
